Colours of the end of Summer

Echinacea
Fall Aster
Fall Crocus
The leafy show of colour increases each day
A huge red sun each evening, instead of a sunset.

  1. we've had a couple of nice days, but we're back to drizzle or rain again = typical irish autumn:) but never mind, I still have a bucketload of elderberries to work on... there's a bit of colour here and there, but mainly leaves (my jap. maple is fiery red!), not all that many flowers in the garden just now. apart from my window boxes and pots around the house....and the grey weather makes all the big, fat, ripe rosehips stand out even more - a reminder that I still have to de-seed them all:)
    enjoy the nice spell!
